The 17th Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Amateur Golf Cup, hosted by Serena Hotels, wrapped up at the Margalla Greens Golf Club in Islamabad on Saturday, bringing an exhilarating four-day golfing spectacle to a grand conclusion. Held from October 31 to November 3, this prestigious tournament attracted Pakistan’s finest amateur golfers, putting their skills to the test and reinforcing the spirit of camaraderie and competitive sportsmanship.

The event’s closing ceremony was graced by Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, who attended as the chief guest. His presence highlighted the Navy’s commitment to supporting sports and encouraging excellence in amateur golf in Pakistan. Also present at the ceremony were Lt Gen Qazi Muhammad Ikram Ahmed, President of the Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF), and Aziz Bolani, CEO of Serena Hotels, adding further prestige to the occasion.

In his address, Lt Gen Qazi Muhammad Ikram Ahmed acknowledged the collaborative efforts of Margalla Greens Golf Club and Serena Hotels in successfully organizing the championship.
