The highly anticipated 50-over President’s Cup is set to kick off on October 3, 2024, featuring nine top departmental cricket teams from across Pakistan. This year’s tournament will be played in five different cities, with all matches scheduled for daylight hours, starting at 9:30 AM.

The tournament will feature two groups, with teams battling it out for a total prize pool of PKR 7.75 million. The champion team will walk away with PKR 5 million, while the runner-up will secure PKR 2.5 million.

Group A will consist of the following teams:

  • Khan Research Laboratories (KRL)
  • State Bank of Pakistan (SBP)
  • Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA)

Group B will include:

  • Eshaal Associates
  • Ghani Glass
  • Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL)
  • Pakistan Television (PTV)
  • Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL)

Group Stages and Venues

Matches for Group A will take place across the northern cities of Abbottabad, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi. Meanwhile, Group B matches will be held in Faisalabad and Lahore, bringing the excitement of domestic cricket to these cricket-loving regions.

SNGPL, the defending champions from the previous edition, are set to open the tournament with a thrilling match against Ghani Glass on October 3 at the Saeed Sports City Bedian in Lahore.

Knockouts and Final

The tournament will culminate with two semi-final matches scheduled for October 13 and 14, with the grand finale to be held on October 16.
